Following up on my last post I just thought you guys should know:

I ran for VP Finance for the Filipino Association here at Mac (FMSA) and I won.
I am also the new VP Internal for the DeGroote Finance Association (DFA) and,
(Hopefully if they still want me back) I'll still be working as a Coordinator at the Trading Floor next year.

I'll be a very busy busy guy next year and I'm looking forward to it.

Wow it feels weird blogging again for I haven’t done this in a very long time as you might have noticed the date on the last post haha

A lot has been happening with me recently and so I think I should take the time to update my loyal fans of my secret club (whoever you are, cheers! haha).

So okay lets start of with the one that I’m really proud of. The one reason why I went to my university and not to any other university in Ontario. I chose to go to McMaster U not because of its Commerce program or for its amazing campus. But, I chose Mac because it has what only other two universities across Canada have-- it has the Allen H. Gould Trading Floor. Say what? Well, the GTF is equipped with state of the art technology that enables users to track, analyze, and understand the stock market. In addition, it is able to simulate the trading environment using real time feed coming from all North American Exchanges. There is only one of three of its kind in Canada and only one out of thirty in the world. I just got a job at the GTF. How awesome is that? I started last January and I swear I’ve learned so much from working there and I’ve met so many people who share the same interests as I. Working there is a dream come true.

I remember before when I got accepted to DLSU this guy invited me to join Tapat. I’ve always wanted to participate in student government but I never really had the guts back in high school. So, I took his invitation as a sign that good things were waiting for me as soon as I started school at DLSU. Then, of course, that didn’t push through because my dad wanted me to study here. I was pretty much disappointed because I was sooo close to what I’ve longed for so long. Moving here, I promised myself that I would be more involved with school because I really wanted to make a name for myself. With that said, I’ve been so involved with different clubs and associations for the past couple of months now. I’ve even joined the Filipino Association! And it turns out that they like me and right now I’m the one in charge of their finances. Isn’t that cool? Elections are up this March and I’m thinking of running for President. Initially I just wanted to be their VP of Finance however many have said I should run for the top spot. Wow, what a huge ego boost -- I never would have thought people think of me that way. In addition, I’m also running for an Exec position for the Finance Association in my faculty. I hope all goes well! :)

Well, that’s all for now there are lots of things to talk about still however this blog entry is just going to be too long and I don’t want to seem like a – do I daresay? --- blogger. Haha

Oh and if you guys have to know, I still love Rocky. My love. Going 4 years strong :) :)

Honestly, I wouldn’t have lasted this school year without her by my side. It really does make a difference to have her around because there was this one time I couldn’t reach her because she had some trip she went on. And I tell you, I couldn’t sleep without talking to her. It’s crazy because something small like that just kept me up all night. And for those who know me – and my anemic side—I need my sleep. So yeah haha you can bet I wasn’t a pretty boy the morning after.

april 19, '07/my hun's 20th

 

lucky me, anna v shipped my present off to ontario so i got to give brian a present again this year without the need for fedex. i worked really ard on my gift this year so i really hope you like it bri!

my april 19 went really good. first i had my first ever lesson with mr. earl escobal who is teaching me couture:) then i got to talk to *YOU* for three hours and thirty mins:) im glad i got to make you laugh on your bday. :) brian even discovered that the two phonecards he thought was from tita grace (his mom) surprisingly came from chris (his brother who has never given him a present their whole lives) that was really sweet:) after we talked i got to go to jaimes surprise bday party.

i may only have had three hours and thirty mins of your bday making you happy, but i know that length of time doesnt matter with us anymore. i really really really love hearing you laugh. i cant wait to SEE you laugh:) so for the meantime, happy birthday love and enjoy my gift as much as i enjoyed putting everything together for you.

Well anyway I didnt get the job at FNF errr hehehe it was already expected because they were looking for accoutants and I really didnt have any valuable accounting skills :) owell, nothing lost-- I'll just apply next year once I've completed my fin and managerial accounting courses. the good thing is that 3 people called my cel for an interview! WHAT! HAHA :) and so the FNF news didnt really disappoint me hehe. I know exactly where I went wrong the first time and so I'll try to do better this time around.

My goals for this week:
Study calc the whole weekend
Study commerce, macro, and polisci - next week
Book Interviews hehe :)

May I just say that I'm learning to be a good interviewee but you know what? I just want to say.. Life, you suck when you make me do the crap I expected to be done in the first place

You know what? im beginning to miss OPM and so i downloaded a couple of songs. However, a couple of songs were literally a couple lang hehe those who know me well will tell you that i dont know any OPM at all. kahit pinoy celebrity, o man i am the wrong person to talk to about celebs on mtb and the like hehe. so yeah with that said? do you guys mind giving me a couple of OPM songs? any genre will do... will i sound old perse if i ask, "uso pa ba ang bamboo? eh yung mayo? " hahaha dont laugh people. im seRyus. so there, hit me back with the tunes.

Hey everybody it's someone's birthday today! *Enter clowns and elephants* hahaha! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAAAYYY!!!!

You're turning 18 this year. one more year to give thanks for all you have right this moment. I cannot express (although i will try to!) how ecstatic i am to be able to officially greet you. It might not mean so much, and some of you reading this might not even get what i mean. i dont blame you, however I do want you to understand :) Im so stoked right now to greet love because it is one year less til i can see her again. Not one year less til im going to visit her and stay for just a month or two... im talking about being with her forever. No more leaving and no more second guessing. No more of the dreadful separation anxiety sydrome. No more countdowns til i leave. No pressure and no stress. because from then on? wherever i go she goes too. One year less, and we can have our own place decorated by yours trully (yes i know how to decorate stuff thank you).

Another reason is because I cannot believe how much rocky has changed over the years, and by saying that, may i say that love? you have made me happy all the way. Can you imagine that ive known you for almost 4 years now? and we've been together for almost 3 years? ( Sinayang natin yung one year! haha! ) You've made me happy with all that i am right now, it just makes me wonder "Who's the matured one here?" I guess you are most of the time the sensible one. Ive never been so blessed to have someone to guide me the way like you naturally do -- gosh, ive never wanted to be with anyone in my whole life so bad. There's something about you love that i cannot absolutely live without. I dont know what it is yet, but Im going to spend eternity if i have to finding out what. but, then again..hopefully i wont get to know what attracts me to you because i dont want to know everything about you. i always want to feel that we're both new at this and there's still something to look forward to. dont you feel that way?

Ako ang nagmamahal sayo. Keep that fact close to you because it's guaranteed to never leave you. Tanggalin mo pa yung vowels sa phrase na yan-- potek, mahal pa rin kita! and Ive always stuck by you through thick and thin... for better AND for worse and the good part is that you havent seen anything yet. I hope to see you soon because i uberly miss you. You're growing up so fast na, sometimes i wish you didnt grow up at all because for me-- i'll always see you as my 15 year old gf whose laces i always tie before practice... and whose fragrance i love to smell in the morning You mean the world to me and with that aside, i am coming back for you. And i promise, we will do everything we missed while we were away. Debut, Graduation, and all the shopping trips we could have gone to (woopee haha).

I wish the world would give me a break, because all i want to do for the rest of my life is to wake up next to you seeing you looking back at me... and in return for that moment of heaven, i whisper back that im never leaving you again. ever. i pinky promise

its been two years and a half. 30 monthsaries. god made us stay strong despite the distance and lack of time spent. everyday i ask myself how i hold up. but i came to realize its because you hold me up. you do half of the job, and even more. i am not perfect, and you have learned to put up with all the shitty habits i have. when i whine you hate it. but whenever i do, you manage to calmly tell me to stop. im impatient and you are the most patient person ive ever met. i eat a lot, and when i have food on the side of my mouth you smile as if its perfectly normal to eat like a boy. we argue and i cry, and you always stop to tell me you love me. you give me more than i could ever hope for. i  tell you i need you and you try so hard to be there. i want to talk and you use your landline even though you know it'll cost you your savings. you are the person who has loved me more than i thought anybody else could. and because you are so good for me, i cant imagine ever making the mistake of letting you go. im so glad we got out of the tough first year. we finally got to that point where i can sing "if you leave me now you take away the biggest part of me" without feeling sorry for myself.:)) i just want to tell you that after all this time, im still here, and im still waiting for you to come home. i still love you as much as i did then, and i am sure now more than ever that i always will. i am not sorry for the bad times, because i believe that we have grown. although if i ever hurt you in the past, i will hug you for each time weve ever had an obstacle and tell you that i hope i never make you even the slightest bit sad ever again. and i am so grateful for the best times. the best times of my life. and i will continue to pray for even better times, because life has so much more in store for us. thank you. for being the best. and i quote from my favorite children's book:" i love you forever. i like you for always. as long as im living, my baby you'll be:)
